Route Building Resumes

After just over a month of emailing Railworks Support we have come to the conclusion that I require more RAM in my computer to stop it crashing, unfortunately I will not be able to afford the upgrade until after Christmas. So to keep route building going I am reverting to my last Railworks 3 Backup and will be using that until I get the RAM upgrade. This should mean normal service will resume. I would also like to thank those who have viewed my blog this month and helped make it the month the blog has been viewed the most in, I noticed that a large proportion of these views are from Russia and the Ukraine, so perhaps in the future I may develop something for that region of Europe. Anyway thanks again.

The Joys of Forgetting to Back Up

Well I forgot to back up and another problem has struck and meant I have had to revert to my last TS2012 back up which has none of the new OLE around Dinworth, so it's back to square 1. Hopefully I'll be where I was last night by next Sunday.

Route Building can resume......?

I think that the problem seems to have just stopped, I am hoping that it won't come back, but in the meantime I'm working faster than before to try and catch up a bit, however all the OLE around Dinworth Central is now complete, just a little bit on the approach to apply and then I can finally try the erm... stressful task of signalling the entire thing.

Apologies

I apologise for the lack of posts however I have little to post about to be honest, I have made little if any progress since the launch of Railworks 4: Trainsimulator 2013. This has been due to the world editor constantly crashing, to give you an idea of how bad this problem has been the progress I have made is to add 15 OLE pieces around Dinworth. Which is looking a lot better after the addition of some rather tall buildings (which were added before RW 4: TS2013) from London to Brighton and the North East Corridor Route, including the Shard and Empire state building (which has a rather nice view of the station from the top of it, I might add a picture when I sort the problem out. I feel that these buildings help to make Dinworth feel less flat and add some nice features to look at.
