Railworks 4:Train Simulator 2013, what a farce.

To start I'd like to praise Railsimulator.com on improving both graphics and performance as well as some new, quite useful, route building tools. However I'd much rather have kept both the old menu and F3 HUD.
Once again I was disappointed to discover that every time I launch the editor it crashes at some point so unfortunately route building will be much slower than usual  for some time.

Dinworth Remodelling

As part of the remodelling of Dinworth Central I am increasing the mainline from 4 to 6 tracks out of the station simply to make signalling easier, although the track work for the extra lines has proven quite difficult because of the pre-existing layout which without removing 20 (yes twenty) miles of track cannot be made simpler. I may post some before and after pics of the work if I can find some good photos of the old track work.

Signalling Reaches Dinworth

Finally the Signalling work reaches Dinworth which in it's current state is not fit for signals because of the complex and very tight nature of the track combined with the limitations of Signalling in Railworks. So I am redoing a large percentage of the track from scratch and leaving virtually nothing untouched which should hopefully both make adding signalling doable and easy whilst increasing the realistic feel of the station. I would also like to apologise for the lack of posts recently, I have been rather busy over the summer, I went to Barcelona for five days in July immediately followed by my work experience at Nissan Sunderland both of which I thoroughly enjoyed, a couple of weeks later went to stay at my father's work colleague's static caravan in Warkworth for a fortnight which was good as well. So I have been rather busy but I shall get the weekly photos and regular posts sorted out for you again now that things are calming down again ready for school.
